As for Yuli: in case you didn't notice - the "piece of shit" comment is a reference to Bill Hicks (his Basic Instinct bit). Sure, it's blunt. It's not even close to being politically correct. But instead of automatically shutting your mind to what people are actually trying to say because of foul language, maybe you can try and look for the truth in what the guy writes - he obviously believes STRONGLY in what he says, and as someone who knows 5meo-geo personally, he's no fool and probably has a point that you're totally missing because of the 'offensive' qualities of his text.
In case most of you didn't notice, most of what was written here was in good humor, and the barbs were aimed at groups of people so big that there's no chance that it's more than... a guy ranting. Could people ignore the rant and actually try and see that there's a positive message burried in that text?

I find the original post hilarious, but I can easily see why people find it offensive, although he has a couple of valid points. 5Meo-Geo is clearly out of line, I concur in his critique of the scene at the present, but his way of expressing himself is unfortunate. Stating that anyone could create the music that Astrix creates is an insult to anyone who has ever tried to make music.
5Meo-Geo my friend, with constructive criticism you will reach new heights and people will actually listen and not get offended.
Floaty was too harsh to begin with, but I understand her, all this negativity (which you see all over the forum, today), just leads to more negativity.

I dont see that 5meo-Geo is the only out of line. There's a few other that could do with getting down from their high horses too and stop thinking they are better and more "wise" than the rest of the people in this forum.
I wont mention any names. It would only make the rant even more. |

I fail to see the good message here.
I fail to see the good message in Dr. Mez's post saying he wants to shoot us poor 'bubble' people - translation; the people who don't think in exactly the same miserable way that way he does. Surely HATE is an emotion you might perhaps feel for someone who causes mortal harm to someone you love for example? Not because some birds flock together and like listening to the same bloody trance.....!

1) If you would kindly refer yourself to my first post, I quoted somebody who said something along the lines of "we should let people be who they want to be" and agreed with a smile. If that's 'hippy', then I hold my hands up. I certainly don't think I'm better than anybody else. In fact that's EXACTLY what upset me in the first place...arrogant, toilet-mouthed fools who think THEY hold some magical torch of truth and have the right to criticise everybody else with such violent, ugly language. 3) You are assuming a great deal, when you know absolutely nothing about me personally. In fact before this post, I think I had written all of 20 words in this entire thread. A lot of evidence there then. But to clarify; my standards are as described in 1) of this post, being to live as I choose and let others do the same with respect, without fear, and without being told to fuck off and die biachhhh.
Now. If there's nothing else, I'm going for lunch followed by a nice walk in the park with my kids because it's a lovely day outside and I for one am quite happy to be alive!

Anyway about all of this. We all have different life situations (just cuz your happy and oblivious of bad things your not in a bubble, you just a verry lucky dude, or pretty stupid and ignorant). But tho! The more you live, the more assholes you run in too.
ofcourse that can make someone bitter! but thats just the way it is.. People are different, and thats why everyone isnt friends with everyone.
You just shouldnt try to make souch a big deal of it!
Try to hold on to those you like, and let the others rot!

hmmmm thinking of whats the dr worte i realized that i have good friends that listen to comresial music , buy fashion clothes and all of the living in a bubble things .they making jokes about the music i hear the style that i live in when i wait to a good party and nothing alse is important, but they good people shoot them i dont thinks so .....
