Somehow, I don't know why, but for some reason I don't hear lyrics when I listen to music.

Even when I fully focus on what the vocalist is singing, I still barely hear what they sing.

I think it's because I think I'm much more focused on the melodies and instruments, and therefore I cannot focus on the lyrics at the same time.

Now, I wonder if there are more people like me?

It seems to happen after focusing years on the instruments and sounds like in Vocal-less Electronic Music. But I think it gets worse cause I sometimes focus on the texture of speech rather than the content of the people I talk to. And that can be a problem you know..
