So I've found myself being kind of obsessed with the sound of this Ghreg On Earth video, and I've been trying to analyze the sound (despite the kind of crappiness the videocamera added to the sound). There's just so much going on, I find it hard to analyze. I love the kind of stuttery gallopy feeling it's got though.
Any ideas? How many layers of stuff do you hear going on? Any idea what track he's playing? One of his own?

It kind of reminds me of the sound of trains on train tracks, if you know what I mean.

That looks like a sick little shindig, I'd be so amped to party in the US.
Really dig the track, some serious psychedelic groove going down. I can just imagine what kind of atmosphere those trippers were feeling.
from what I can hear it sounds relatively minimal. A couple of layers made more interesting with effects. The kick and bass sounds like your standard KBBB pattern, but I think that train-track sound comes from a clacky kind of percussive hit running in 16ths with some velocity modulation.

both tracks are on the T3 album, but I tend to twist things a bit live.

hmm, i got in contact with psy not with parties...
a friend gave me some cd´s ... i just listened to
psy when i drove my car or played racing games.
this was awesome... later i decided to make my own
tunes. i went to some parties (gms, astrix, some
dark...) and i didnt like i much... drugs etc.
i started with techno about 10 years ago,
i didnt like the techno people too... later i played
guitar in a thrash metal band, loved the head bangin^^
now i make psy lol

dude, did you seriously just judge people's dancing skills? Looks like people are dancing and having a good time to music they obviously enjoy. I don't see any bored people in that vid. Drugs and girls = disgusting? First of all, blanket statements are bad. There will always be a portion of any population that does stupid shit, but that is not the whole picture - or most of the picture.
Secondly, intimate altered moments with significant others are potentially incredibly powerful experiences. Do not bash that which you are not familiar with imo.
