The mix sounds a bit dirty for me. Some sounds are too loud.
The low frequencies must be more clean than now.
It sounds mushy and that let me miss the pressure.
But the atmoshpere and the sounds are nice.
Stay tuned! |

Thank you for your input. I was thinking maybe you have some tips, how to make it more clean and not so mushy, you would share to me/and others?

First of all make sure your sounds fit together.
It doesn't sound like it's the low frequencies bite each other.
It's more like the other sounds got too much low frequencies.
Don't eq your sounds up. Take some frequencies out and make some more lowcuts. So your Bassline have more space.
Normally i split my bassline in low and high and most time i use only a sinuswave for the low, then i can do with the high part what i want with it, but i make a lowcut at 200-250hz.
Maybe sidechain the kick and your bassline, but only a little bit(3-4db) otherways it's pumping.
