This arrived in my hands on Friday. Listened to it a few times over the weekend.
Really enjoyed it. Some of the tracks seemed a bit short to me, but the album rolls on nicely from track to track.
Nice little journey indeed. |

Didnt like the intial 2-3 tracks, then the aura really kicks in..nice journey

Hmm, the samples on saikosounds r really nice to my ears ... very pure, natural ... maybe also very good for a special walk through the nature  |

Still trying to wrap my ears around this one. Given it a few listens so far, but it hasn't really clicked for me yet. Might have to put this back on the shelf for a week or two and come back with a fresh perspective. |

sometimes it's the best thing to do,
even give it a month or two...
when it works, you put it in the CD player
and all of a sudden it's like... wow ! ! !
you just get it
i really love when it happens !
it's like you are discovering a completely new album.
i think that in the and, it's probably a question of the mental - spiritual state of mind that the person is currently in.
i'm sure it already happened to you and lots of people before.

Exactly my intent.  I love suddenly understanding an album I couldn't grasp before because I just wasn't completely open to it on previous listens. |

really unique sound !
beautiful compositions !
very spacey and yet very organic....at the same time.
great production, the mastering is top quality as always !
ethereal melodies wrapped with sharp groovy
rhythms and strange crispy sounds and effects.
a nulti layered album with a real psychedelic
depth...and gentle but electrifying atmosphere and even mystic at times.
highly recommended !

it becomes deeper every time i listen to it !
very moving !
beautifully works the imagination...
pure pleasure from the first second until the last !
including the beautiful hidden track.
it's noticeable that I Awake and Ultimae put a lot effort and emotion into this creation as the Ultimae team and artists always do !
the Core is now one of my favorite Ultimae albums, alongside with HOL BAUMANN - Human and CARBON BASED LIFEFORMS - Hydroponic Garden and World Of Sleepers.
i hope Ultimae will soon reprint the H.U.V.A. Network Distances album and maybe even SOLAR FIELDS - BLUE MOON STATION album.
oh.. and the artwork on the cover and booklet of the Core is amazing !
it really lets you get into the mood...
like in all the Ultimae albums.
compliments to sub88 this time.
i love the postcards as well,

This album grew on me slowly and surely when I bought it back in 2008, I'm surprised that it didn't made some more noise here in the forum.
I listened to it last night after a few months without hearing it and it was totally mind blowing , this album really provides a wonderful emotional psychedelic experience !
it's a futuristic novel of ambient dives and oriented flights to our imagination !
a really beautiful package with the Sub88 artwork.
every Ultimae release that I own is always launching me to a unique beautiful journey.
