A Comment to all Organizers.
THE OTHER SIDE.
ESKIMO (JUNYA) IS A PETTY THIEF!!
He has a Bad reputation in Mexico for asking for advance fee's and then NOT SHOWING to the party.
Let's look at things from the other side.
I personaly sent him $14,000 pesos (which is $1,000 euros) 100% full advance fee for a festival in Acapulco april 9, and 10. Plus I spent $1,400 usd dollars in a non-refundable ticket...Brazil---mex city--acapulco--mexico city--Brazil.
He claims he did not receive his airplane ticket....which was sent to him via Federal Express....weeks in advance, to the address he provided in Brazil.
All the other artists...which were alot...recieved their tickets and arrived at the festival. No Problems.
I later found out that Junya...(Eskimo) played at a party in Brazil...THE SAME DAY as our festival!!!!
What kind of respect is this??
He has done this to many persons in Mexico as well.
So how is it he expects to be treated after this.??
He is a very talented artist. One of the best. It is just too bad that he does not have any manners or education, when it comes to acting like a proffesional, that he claims to be.
Recently a friend of mine ran into him in Mexico City...and asked for the money he owes. He then called me on the phone and told me it was his intention to give me back my money from the beggining...and then gave my friend $10,000 pesos (equivalent to 700 euros) some of the money he gave my friend was fake----counterfeit...so he still owes $4,000 pesos....plus I am still down the non-refundable ticket I sent him.
The only reason he gave my friend any money was because he was scared....and not because it was his true intentions to ever repay this amount of money to me.
I don't expect any of the other organizers he has burnt........ will respond any different-------- to the way in which he says the one who put a gun to his face did.
So I understand why someone would go to this extreme.
Too bad, so sad. But true.
