What's up with this forum? Everytime a noobie ask a simple question he just gets jokes and pointless answres. It might be funny one time but hey, the man just want some advice.

Makistyle research on bass around the forum and learn about bass synthesis that way you can create bass with almost any vst.

You can try many free vsts or buy: albino, vanguard, cronox, alien303, basstation, ABL...

There are many roland juno and other rolands emulators out there, use google.

maybe u r right aciduss. but on the top of this forum there is a more than 70 pages long thread with the name 'the mother of all basslines'. i read the whole thing, even it was boring sometimes. but after not many questions about bass here anymore.

and what you need for bass is sine, saw or square. filter with fast env. a bit eq, comp and dist. there u go.

for these styles i would say vanguard should do. but off course almost every synth with good envelops will work.

actually this will mean sorry for making to much jokes. next time i will not answer at all like every1 else.

peace

i just google'd roland vst and it has a download for a ton of plug-ins. I'm at work right now so I can't check it out with ableton, but does anyone know if it's good?
