wtf is this problem!??!?! it's starting to piss me off!

i have 2 patters working at the same time with about 8 different channels...
i added a TS404 and made a new patern for it.. and it won't fucking play this cxhannel along with the other 2... only when it feels like it...
but when i add this to one of the excisting patterns it plays the notes all the time!

What the hell!?!?

channel per pattern... that's what u told when we talked at that party... but err.. it's too late now :(
i will try that on my next track.

+ it's much easier to experiment live with multiple channels on 1 pattern...

Ron, here's how i write a track on FL3:
i create a pattern for each instrument as a standalone pattern. say i need open hi hats and closed hi hats as a group, but than i gotts to play the closed hats alone? so i creat a pattern with ONLY closed hats and the next one will be the open hats. it's much easier to work that way. call me later tonight, i'll give you a hand :-)

about the TS404. it's a problematic instrument. i encountered the same problem with guy on one of my tracks. it's a weird bug. try not putting it on a correlated pattern or effect channel. seperate it from the others as much as possible.

or try a different VST indtrument for that line instead of the 404.

that could work too, but the TS404 has some very unique sounds that take hours to duplicate on other VST instruments, non ts404...

Ron, this info might help you:

(Taken from the FL site)

"The TS404 is a monophonic synthesizer. That means it can not generate more than one tone at a moment. That is why when you trigger several patterns that contain TS404 notes and/or property changes (cutoff and pitch in the Graph Editor) only the topmost pattern is played and the rest are ignored.
Sometimes, you might skip to clear some patterns from TS404 data and they can mute another TS404 sequence placed below in the Playlist. To make sure that the patterns you trigger together with your TS404 sequence do not contain any data for the same TS404, switch to each pattern you want to clear, select the corresponding TS404 channel and press Ctrl+X (or select Cut from the Edit menu).

That way all notes and properties in the Step Sequencer are set to default and the pattern is considered free of TS404 sequence data."
