Zenon Records is proud to present the awaited first full length concept release by Hypogeo.
After giving the imprinting of his sound with some VA releases and a 4 tracks EP, Wars Worms and Whores, he is ready to deliver his magnum opus “Tree of Lies”, sonic guide for an awakened revenge against the shameful deception we live everyday. The tight net of lies woven by rule-makers set to control our minds made us blind in front of the great injustices committed and too weak to fight them. Hypogeo provides us with eight powerful sonic weapons to start a call against the white Tree of lies, symbol of the chains that strain humans. Designed to undermine the power structures leading our civilization to an obscure future, the sound develops in an extremely clean environment. Fat heavy basslines get absorbed by twisted industrial atmospheres and synths, leading the shot straight to mark. A determined psychedelic approach makes the rest , through carved, creepy percussions that leave no room for compromise. Carefully chosen, every piece is aimed to condemn a lie to death.
