Hi there folks!

After starting production in December of 2009 it has been a dream of mine to play out a track of mine on a dancefloor and after many months of hard work I finally made a track that I was comfortable playing out.

Here it is! It's an unmastered mix - I usually ghetto master with Izotope Ozone but each time I tried with this track it ended up worse so I just mixed it to peak at ~0 DB and it sounds pretty good to me on multiple systems.

As always though there is massive room for improvement and I would love to hear anyone's thoughts or critiques.

Cheers!

Hi Vermee Thank you for your honest feedback!

Was it just a stylistic difference that you didn't like? Or particular sounds? My melodies still need a lot of work, though I am happy with how the lead lines in this one make me feel.

The comment on 'my own style' brought a smile to my face even if I don't necessarily agree with you            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

no particular sounds , in fact the sounds are very nice and i see u like to explore a lot chain effects and they are very well done...

what i didnt like was the final sensation like it was missin some notes of the scale u are using but as i told it can be mater of tasty...

bout the originality of ur sound , the closest i can think of it would be suomi sounds but u are like miles away from finland ;P

Yeah, I can understand where you're coming from with the melodic content. My theory needs a lot of work and my melodies are just random experiments. I don't even remember if I consciously used a scale for this one.

If you liked the FX noises coming from the track, the majority of them are produced with U-He's AMAZING Uhbik collection, as well as some of the D16 Silverline plugins - notably the analog chorus.            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe
