Where can I get high-quality samples??

the best sound quality samples provides AKAI format cd libraries.... you can buy those through the net and convert it to WAV, to use in any available sound composing software

nope, you dont have to use 96khz samples to sound like a pro
furthermore, if your recorder doesnt support such high quality sound - you may get hiss and noice distortion on your audio discs..
96khz is comphatible for high-end studio audio equipment, not for home use i suggect
