ok i ve posted here there to get precise infos about some gear ....but i tought ,let's put it all down and see what you would recommend me .
i m about to finish my studio and have some cash to spend to bring new gear in ...
ok right now my workstation is 8 years old and a pain in the a.. to work with .
what i know i really need ;
1- new computer (was going for ADK pro audio quad core extreme ;
http://www.adkproaudio.com/systems/viewsystem.cfm?recordid=130).

2- new monitors (i will get the Dynaudio Bm6a)
3-soundcard ,already have RME Fireface 400 ,
need more inputs .(tought of buy another produce from RME enable me to have more analogs ins )
4-acoustic treatment (seen this Auralex roominator kit ;
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/620031-REG/Auralex_DLXPLUSCHAPUR_Deluxe_Plus_Roominators_Kit.html)
5-Monitors management (have some Alesis mki ,and some Genelecs 8030a ,wanted to get a Big Knob for a while ,except i could have one that came on my soundcard extention)
What i already have ;
hardware synth ;_Virus Ti
_Roland Vsynth XT
_Nord 2x Rack
_Roland Varios
_Korg Karma
Hardware fxs ;_Korg Kaos pad
_Line 6 delay/pedal

looks like you got all that you need plus a little bit more.
the only thing that is obviously missing - but absolutely not necessary - is a nice analogue synth. mono or poly.
if i was in your situation, i'd get rid of some redundant digital synths and all hardare fx and get an interface with more inputs and a minimoog instead. just my opinion. |

I'd personally blow it on hookers and whisky, like real rock stars do!
Other than that, acoustic treatment goes with good monitors. You can't really have one without the other so investing in that is a good choice!

Take up a month of free time from work and start making tunes with what you already have.

Go for the computer, you could also build it yourself, but wait a little bit, Intel is realeasing a new generation in the las quarter of the year and it might be a siginificant improvement.

it has got a really great sound, just for the amplification..i would send single samples/track/whole mixes thrue it..even drums and then drive it hot..
well for drums i would maybe recommend some API stuff like a compressor, wich is great fast and good for drum sounds..
but the BAE would become a secret weapon of choice
Narf..if i would have that money..lol  -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.- |
