well.....

Day 1: we (Kennet, Lyte, Me and Liraz my GF) got there at around 4am on Thursday to see a nice location with 2 main areas (chilout room in a small vally and a dancefloor on a hill above it), 2 turbo systems, a bar in the middle of it's construction and about 50-70 ppl all around. Nadi was spinning at the time, mostly to himself and I took over from around 4.30, and mixed mostly to myself. once in a while a brave soul would stagger up the hill, have a little jig and go down again. Golum took over from 6.30 and mixed a nice set (to themselves) and then Miagi and his friend with a very compplicated name took over from 8.00 and rocked the dancefloor packed with their friends (4 friends in all) till 10.00.

We had a nice day in the desert (some of which felt like we were under a giant dry blower), staying out of the sun, drinking A LOT of water, playing shesh-besh, eating, smoking, talking, sleeping (more like fainting from the heat), and playing music - we had a realy nice 3 guitars and 2 darbukas jam session ). Eventually the sun went down and ppl started drizzling in for the 2nd day.
All in all about 250-300 very nice ppl attended.

Day2: the music started at around 16.00 with a ragga-dub set from dj David. Josh took over from 18.00 with an Indian chillout set (to much whining for me - felt like I'm in an Indian movie soundtrack)
I was releaved when Elysium took over at 20.00 and started with some more conventional chill, slowly proggressing to a nice, melodic proggressive set. Elysium played untill 2.00 till Borris finaly showed up (he was only 2.5 hours late) and mixed some nice but a bit too melodic tunes for that time of night, till he was replaced by Triac who gave a very good (but short) live set and a confused (and luckily short) dj set. David took over at 5.30 and mixd a nice sunrise set with a few amusing tunes written by himself and Sub 6 started djing at around 7.30 with a great set full of psychedelic morning tunes. the crowd really liked it and the dancefloor was packed with ppl who stayed there and enjoy the wonderfull sprikler system in the dance area.
The day ended with an Elysium Vs David Nostalgia Trip with many oldies but goodies and when the music finaly stopped at 11.00 we ran away from there as quickly as we could to aviod the heat that was promised to be much worse then the day b4.

to sum it up, it was a nice party. too bad that not too many ppl came - either everybody were partied out from Indipendance day or the Domo crew kept it too hsh-hush- but those who bothered to make the trip got a really nice experience.

I just woke up, after two days of tripping through our beloved country....
Domo presented a very well produced event, with a small crowd of about 300 creating the best one they ever held and for me it was the best party I have been in Israel for the at least a year !!!
I was there only at the second night since I was recovering from the twins party...
Music was excellent, sound was good the place was beautiful but most of all... the energy was AMAZING !!!
The moment I got there Borris got to the booth and started mixing, I felt it's fluent and interesting but could connect to his set since I was searching for myself there for some moments.......
Triac gave a very nice and interesting set during the night which eventhough I really enjoyed it, seemed too heavy and deep for the crowd...
Then came david and warmed up the croud, the party was moving....
The next set was held by sub6, and they gave the best morning set I've heard for a lot of time, pure wisdom and the connection ppl-desert-music for very strong, positive and fluent... A big thumb up for sub6, they got me going like I didn't dance for about 9 months !!!
Then david and Elyisum projet (or however you write it) did a back2back nostalgic set which continued fluently that morning...
I hope that there are some pictures of me dancing there, because it seems it won't happen again so soon... ;-) ....
Thanks Domo for the best party I've been too in the last year in Israel ,including mine ;-) .....

Ugh, i was exauhsted and ill by the time guy finished his set, me and kenneth went home. the party took place in the Northern negev area, in a beautiful location, great deco, but as shanty here noted, most of the DJ's mixed for themselves, as NO one was there untill later that friday. i'd have put another pair of turbo sounds on the back of the floor to add some more volume and richness to the sound, but other than that i have no qualms. I would have been satisfied dancing alone if the sound was better.
i just wish i'd have the energies to stay - i was awake for over 24 hours, with little to no sleep, and way too much smoking. by 7:30 i felt like i am in some kind of limbo, neither here nor there.
as for the beduin incident, well, i was not present, and as shanty said, we'll leave the explanations to nadi           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb

Sound no good? Sorry man you need a new set of ears...... The sound was very good.

10 tumbs up for a very very nice setting and a really good effort from the Domo guys and girls to bring quality instead of quantity into the Isralie party scene... Just a shame that people are too lazy to do some traveling for a good party..... well maybe next time

Elysium, man, i wish I could've stayed to listen to your set
I did'nt say the sound was bad, i said I would've put an extra pair of TS in the back to ADD to the already good sound like i said, i have no qualms with any one of the orgenizers. my only qualm is the people who got there early - why did no one dance?!           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. Like I said, I was exauhsted and sick, so i high-tailed it before the heat turned to be a scorching. had i stayed there i'd've probably had to have been escorted to the nearest hospitel           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb
