Theres a sound in psytrance for example the one in sirius isness -2012 tepoz trippers- that sound like kinds laser gun very aldo alien project does it very much and i ve been trying very hard on how to do it, i know they use nord lead but i was told that dicovery and z3ta can do it also., i guess is very hard sound design cause till today i have no clue how to do it, no mean to clone but to learn. i would appreciate some help |

I don't know what you mean exactly by laser sounds, but try modulating the pitch with an envelope. Both z3ta and discovery can do this. |

i think you want to set an envelope to modify the pitch & make it sweep from high to low in about 730ms...
first select a simple wave (saw or fm) & set the pitch VERY low
make sure the envelope affects the pitch
then set the envelopes ADSR to zero & start turning up the decay untill it sounds right
i dont know if this is what you meant but i like this sound...
i do this on an ES2 in logic but i have also got good sound out of the malstrom in reason & the A1 in cubase
