i use logic and when i use an fx to a vst the fx assign from the start to the end of the track.
for example.if i`m using the waldorf attack and i want the fx to act only in the turn of the music how to assign it just for this part?

yes, you ve to automate the bypass of the plug. it s good anyways, cause bypassed plugs don t use any cpu in logic.

That right? Wicked! I think they do in Cubase/Nuendo which a bit of a pain.

Another suggestion would be to bounce the part of the track that you want affected to wav. Place that wav into an audio track, and apply the effect to the audio track. I had an issue where when I automated the bypass on an effect, there would be a click type sound whenever it would go from bypassed to active and vice versa...

I don't think Logic counts the automation for bypassing an effect when you're bouncing.
What I would do if I wanted to use the effect would be to bounce the part I wanted the effect on then run the effect, or if it was an insert - set the mix level to 0% and then 100% where it needed it. Or whatever you want it to be set to.

instead of automating the bypass you could automate some gain knob.
or just automate the level slider and use a gainer plugin to set your main gain (so you can use the full resolution of the level fader).
Then you can easily avoid clicks and stuff.
