hey guys,
i´ve seen this movie now pretty often always fascinated by the sounds in it. so what i like to get is some input for how to modulate these sounds. i know its a lot about fm and wavetable stuff and i finally got the sound when they´re transforming done myself, but there are tons of other sounds in it i cant understand how to be done.
if anyone here is working on these sounds too i would be very glad if it´s possible to share the way gone to get them.

I actually had to do a rip of the battle in the street for a college project. It had to sound exactly like the original and I got pretty close in some regards.
I used this
for the transforming effect from the 80's cartoon series and mixed it was reverse sword unsheathings, car doors and hydraulics. You can achieve similar effects by reversing, pitch shifting and cutting up samples.

This track is massive!! Yes is dubstep, grime!
It's maybe a movie sample with that typical Lfo wobble effect.

Here's another tutorial! Easier to understand.
In this one we load a bass sample, but we can use the wobble on any type of sound!!!
Very very interesting effect.

ok äääähhm,
so i bought this game today even if i would prefer to get these sounds myself done. now my problem is to decompress the cab archives which should be fine with stuffit (im on a mac).
BUT im able to decompress any cab files from the dvd except the audio ones
possible they did that intentionally???
i will try to get them decompressed on pc, but i think it will not work (pretty rarely a pc does something a mac cant )
so im at the same point now as yesterday. the sounds from the dvd had been fine, but i really prefer to get them myself synthesized. they dont have to be exactly the same. if someone knows some cool way to get there would be really great. i thought about maybe some advice on different waveforms and filters and some modulation tricks to get similiar effects.
i did some stuff i like with different wavetables on my blofeld, added some fm and comb filtering with some fm, fat that shit up with some added waveshape drive on the filter, unison, pwm to point i like, pwm modulation, flt cutoff and fm amount on my modwheel to scan that sound and some ringmodulation. just for those of u interested. the result sounds pretty nice and similiar to those in the movie. but not all sounds are done this way....
