Greetings IsraTrance !

I was wondering on how I can perform a sound treatment to my room, I have heard the difference between sound proofing and sound treatment..

So Basically I've moved to a new room in my house its on the 2nd floor, and It has hollow walls (seems like theres only a piece of wood between the walls instead of cement.. haha ) So If I tap my fingers on it, it makes a massive noise.

So I was wondering whats the best way to sound proof or sound treatment this room.. If there are any good ways
please help me .!!

Thank you so much !!

To sound proof you need to isolate the sound from the building, its called a floating room, essentially a room within a room that sits on a insulating layer, usually through rubber mounts.

Its a very big job to it right.

Lots of good info on the net.
