how does standard psytrance hihats are setup in the tracks? (K-kick/h-short hihat/H-long hihat)

ranges from closed hat on every beat to closed hat on every slot (16ths), you can put open hats on the middle inbetween one beat and the other (1.1.3) but you gotta remember not to put a open and a closed hat on same spot...

This would be a way to do it:
K-H-K-H-K-OH-K
K= Kick
H= Hihat
OP = Open Hithat...
This ives u a good flow, and with the twist of an open hihat... but only way to go is listening to your own ears... what sounds good to you...

ok.....the basic step to me is...
k+c c c h c k+c c c h c
k->kick
c->close hit-hat(put in low gain)
h->open hit-hat
that is the basic step to trance music....don´t forget to put low gain in close hit hat |

man there are several ways u can do it... remember that u can have two hits playng at the same time if its well mixed. dont forget about panning too.

always best to make all alone if u can do it better then samples and nexus and such..
but.. if not , or u feel lazy , thats good clean shortcut
sample cd's made exacly for that
but still for me most fun to make it alone and use whatever i can to make best outcome

You people are really mad. No wonder most psytrance sounds the same old shit all the time!
There are millions of combinations of where to put your hi-hats. Just experiment until you are feeling the groove you want.... sheesh.
