You cannot seperate a complete WAV file into anything.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Why? cant he use a wave editor?...
it's either i havent understood the question, or u r wrong, trip...
Any wave editor (wavelab, cool edit, sound forge etc' ) can split a wav file into many wave files, and if u'll burn'em on-the-fly, with no gaps between tracks, u'll have a continous CD, with no gaps, but with breaks wherever u wanted...
as easy as can be...
u can then encode it to MP3 to free some space on your HD, and play the mp3's with any player u want........... if i understood correctly...

ahhh okok
it's me who didn't get the question right. I'm kinda dizzy....

obviously when talking about it this way u can just cut the big file into many smaller ones.

Just as Weaver said. nothing to add.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

in nero, when you burn a audio cd you can choose the pause between the tracks. so after you split the big mix just set the pause to 0 and burn.

you have to use "index markers" these are the ones telling the cd player that a new track has started. if i remember correctly you are able to edit markers in wavelab but not sure though.
it´s usually a process that takes place in the preproduction phase of cd´s. this way it leaves no gaps unless wavelab was told to make ´em, and the file can be burned to a cd and played as you would any other.           Mastering available here:

I think the absolute easiest program to use for what you want is CD Wave Editor. It's freeware, and not very big. The wav file pops up on the screen, and where you click, it splits the file.
