Well, in most DAWs you have to pick the VST folder where you install all your stuff.
One way would just to be to point it to a new, blank folder and only put the VSTs in there that you need.
If its been a while since you reformatted, I highly suggest completely reformatting and reinstalling windows (if that's what you use, I hear mac doesn't need to do this?) from scratch. I just did this and my system stability is noticeably better, and stuff seems quicker.

to delete all vsts at once find out whats ur default vst folder... and simple press SHIFT + DEL on the folder
if u never manualy set them..it ll prob be set at C:/progamfiles/steinberg/vstplugins
even if u are not a cubase user coz vst s steinberg tecnology so by default it have a tendency to create that folder...
or go to the folder u manualy did set..

There isn't any way to cleanly and correctly uninstall all your vstplugins.
Deleting the VSTPlugins folder is not the right way, uninstalling from the control panel's "add/remove" is better than deleting the vstplugins folder.... but it's not fast.... and "of course" a correct uninstallation isn' t guaranteed.... best way: BACKUP so you can restore you system to any date. |

format c:
do you have hundreds of plugins???
uninstall one by one.. deleting may cause errors and registry problems.
the best thing is to make a fresh windows install + daw and then create a restore point, right away.
if you stuck the HD with garbage you can always restore the clean installation.
