Hi, Seth...
I don't really know the answer 2 your Q...but there's an exelent forum for Logic-users http://community.sonikmatter.com/forums/
They have helped me out several times...
(btw...isn't the analog in not just the same as a mic in ???) |

No PsYx, Motu 828 mkii has a mic input.
Btw, I tried to record a a mic with the same sc and Cubase SX, and I don´t know why the volume was sooo low! All volumes were very loud, but the file was very low and not so good quality... For sure a mistake, but still can´t figure out what I missed...

yeah and its seems in old 828 it goes automatically to input 1 and 2 (the analog ones where u put the synths and shit) ... but it seems liek I have to assign the MIC Insert 1 or 2 to one of those analog inputs because Logic cannot give u teh option MIC input ...
I just dont know how so hope someone will solve this problem here =))

Logic gives you exactly all the inputs that your ASIO or EASI driver assigned to within the soundcard drivers.
If you have analog inputs and special mic inputs, I believe the motu controling software should be in charge.
Besides, everything you change check in Logic:
Arm one audio track for recording - and of course set the inputs as you need.
You could also check the difference in inputs between asio and easi settings.
