Hi All ,
Please provide me some information , How to record a dj set on Laptop & what will be the requirment as "Hardware" EX : what kind of cable wire is required & how to connect DJ console with Laptop .....
"Ive got Sound Forge in my Laptop"

what kind of cable you need depends on what comes out of the mixer and what goes into your laptop or audiocard...
then set the settings of sound forge so that it records the incoming signal and doesnt go into red. Make sure it stays in green all the time. |

Are you talking about recording a set that you will be playing on your laptop or recording a set into your laptop while playing cdjs?
If the set is on your laptop in Traktor or Live, then "having sound forge on your laptop" is unnecessary. With Traktor/Live you can just record the set as you're playing it and render it later. Otherwise just connect the mixer's tape out to your interface's line in or your laptop's integrated line in and record in sound forge.
