hello,
in logic main folder there is a subfolder called Vst. You need to copy your vsts from your cubase folder into there. For many prorams you just need to copy the D.ll files.
Then open the track mixer in logic and click hold on the inserts(I think they are called) You'll find Vstis t the top insert?? and plugins(fx etc...) on the insert?? below.
This is for pcs

in logic 5.x-mixer, the vsti's are the lower ones, the upper the fx...

yes bear in mind what monno has just said... I use logic 4.8 and many vst (like for example the ohmforce range of great plugins) work very badly on them...
Logic claim many of these bugs are fixed with the latest 5.xx line but we all know logic company really want users to use their native plugins( which are brilliant and work seamlessly) and dont really care to much about vst..
At the end of the day you'll get the best sounds when you'll be able to use everyhing and anything you want and know they will integrate perfectly with the host application
I personally would have upgraded to ver5 but i wait to see what logic's next move is.
So think hard whether you realy need to change from cubase
