question of a month!

btw this is simple saw wave (osc) + filter + env + a l;ittle bit of magic in the mix and mastering (like saturation analog device that add this small difference between naked bass track and finished track ).
if it is new style of bass then i am still in 2002           http://www.beatport.com/release/cross-the-atoms/1042450

My aproach to do something like this would be to make a normal bass like Alien Bug suggested and then bounce it to audio, there you will be able to stretch reverse repeat etc, or you can also load it up on a good sampler and spread different processing through out the keys, I use Kontakt for this           http://www.MindDoctorsMakeAcid.com

take what alien bug said but instead of using a KbKb pattern use one midi stretched out for one bar or such... bounce to audio slap some sidechain compression on the bass channel and you get the core of the sound then you can chop stretch etc... and create a little break for bass stabs and wobbles if you choose.           http://soundcloud.com/brentmalik

Cool nice tips guys!!! I never thought about doing that with the bass, I always do that with my leads, but I guess It works the same with the bass!! thanks a lot guys!!! now I can combine this type of bass with the rolling bass, and my sound will sound a little more from today! cuz If only use the rolling bass in my songs, they end up sounding to oldshool! but anyways thanks a lot!!!
And to answer the first question, I have no idea why I want to do something like this! I guess it could be a chemical imbalance in my brain, that makes me vulnerable to cheesiness and golden rays!! hehe! well thanks again!! peace!"!

Surely there's also glide/portamento on this bass as well?

the polyphony is set to 1. so it sounds like a glide effect when you play full on notes.           https://soundcloud.com/twonzero-progressive/twonezero-alienpast-soon-on
