^right... a tutorial for a sound completely different to the one asked....
haha i think you get alot closer using multiple saw oscs with many voices and play low register notes.,
try to seperate the oscs by an octave or so to get the fullness (youl hear they just sound right when set right)
or some faux FM from synth1 or albino - very easy theres an FM knob you control the amount with |

sounds like some slightly detuned saw waves in fm synthesis all ran through a high pass filter being modulated via lfo  . with some slight reverb
