It comes at about 4:55 of this video and it's very common!I know that it is side-chained to the kick, but need a bit of help to make it!

Yes, it is VERY common... those are long notes sidechained to the kick, also play with amp n filter envs.
It takes a little practice but you just have to tweak them enough, you can get any long lead (saw like most of the time) and squash it with heavy sidechain just to let it sound mostly on the off beat... it should get that wavy feel.
Also find the right progression (harmoy?), some times this leads go along with the bassline. Changing every 1/4 or so.
good luck
pd. i love predator and albino for this.

This is the worst sin that any synthesist could commit.. Please dont try to create something that is chewed and spit out.. For the sake of trance let the music flow from your heart, unleash your imagination and be creative.. Theres too many copycats already out there and trance community doesn't need more of that s...
This is strictly my personal opinion..
Now Im not saying this cant be the base to create something new, like factory presets.. Thats why they are there, just to help u get your inspiration..
Have a ton of great leads and lots of good music, all best..

Hmm however its also good for people to "copy" well known sounds to learn synthesis, although a lot of sounds have been regurgitated over and over and over again which aint good, but if the point is to learn a process then excellent go for it, i wouldnt say that was a sin, just curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, which is great

Yeah Magus u get me.. I said its great for a base for creating something new, just to be sure I don't get misinterpreted..
I just recently copied whole track like that.. That's great for learning and lot of fun since u have nice music in the background from which u copy..
But just last night I listened an album with a sound completely stolen from another artist and such stuff was released.. To me that's the worst sin, nothing can beat that.. If its for fun and learning than its great, if its stealing others work and presenting it as own than its bad karma...

BTW while were on the topic, I saw one artist, in the lack of inspiration, grabbing a whole loop from some track.. He just played it on the cdplayer, picked part of the track he likes and just beatmatched track by ear to his own beat in the DAW.. Than the loop gets recorded and once u have it u can create something totally different from it.. Thats the way people used to work when samplers where discovered.. Taking others beat and making something new.. Similar process to re synthesis, and in fact turntables where used as synthesizers in that way and can be called like that.. Sequencer can also be synthesizer.. Than those bastards figured out the way to make money on that sample taking and implemented copyrights.. And cause of that music making is much more limited than it could be..
Well u probably know that but if not and ur interested in topic theres a great video about the amen break loop
I just want to add that maybe if some think that this hip-hop beats have nothing to do with goa trance than they're wrong.. This is the roots of goa trance and acid.. First phonograph was invented in 1858 and if it weren't the creative persons who used turntable for beat juggling, which is basically looping and rearranging, than the sequencers wouldn't be discovered and we wouldn't have so advanced techniques we use now.. So this is raw, real old school..
There's also some Beat Diggin' Documentary on you tube if ur into diggin'..

Thanks guys for your replies, although my original intention was not to copy that sound and use it in one of my tunes, but to use it as a guide in order to make something beyond it, if you get me. To be honest, if you hear 100 psy tracks this sound is used in about 95 of them, so just out of curiocity wondering what makes this sound so special...
