someone is good to make the famouse distortion lead used by some artists like:azax syndrom,brain hunters,dapanji,magneto,brainwash and other.
the lead is similar to a distortion guitar,
i try to make it a lot of time,used a lot of vst or au(cubase and logic).i start with a sawtooth and after put on fx some distortion,bitcrush,eq and compression.
but the result is a crap,or the sound is totally different.

Try free Synth1
Learn to use, then modulate sawtooth OSC1 with saw OSC2, lower octave of OSC2, filter to taste and saturate  profit! u now has superkillarg chainsaw
You are in the right path only ingredient missing is FM.

It's relatively easy to make in Albino. Also, Operator, if you're using Ableton. Also, Rainbow by BigTick (that's a pretty old one) I remember I was able to get a similar lead sound out of. Basically, almost any FM vsti will get you there. The trick is getting the basic method right. Higher waveform modulating a lower waveform. I get the best results out of triangle waves modulating some form of sawtooth.
Andy has a really good video explaining the technique on youtube. He's also kind of hilarious, so that's good.
