I have heard people achieving this with the Nord Modular, but I don't have a clue how to achieve this with software (a good result that is, that is equal in quality compared to the clip). If anyone would be willing to share a few tips on how to achieve something like this with _quality_ 'n' still using software, please share your knowledge! yep FM is the magic word
..BUT I am not saying that you need a "FM synth" you can still achieve this sound by tweak'n the FM on nearly any Subtracter synth.
i like too throw in some "RM/ring modulation" to tuffin it up a bit |

Fugga is right, FM is the magic word... and a plate verb (reverb from the analogue age, where the verb is generated by passing the audio thru a metal plate and recording the result) can give a metallic kind of feeling to any sound |
