At 3:20 this lead comes in which is very interesting to me.
Tweaking a Q turned up bandpass filter to a saw gives somewhat the same effect but not quite. I'm really looking for some help recreate this "oooowwwaaacckkaaooo" sound.
Thanks.           "Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth."

Sounds like a formant filter to me.

+ a slide one octave down
+ may be two filter oscilators, one of which is slowing down on those notes which slide down.

Maybe it is an lfo automation on the cutoff with a relatively high resonance and quite a bit of pwm, with a reverb after maybe a chorus?           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

sliding indeed,
and the filter is just opened in the end of the phrase
... maybe more resonance is added there, too.

automation gives more control than lfo.

it's even also one of my favorite current tracks.          http://www.myspace.com/realtimeproject

sounds like some kind of formant oscillator, with lfo on cuttoff. Also as Orgytime states there is a phaser also, perhaps controlled with the same lfo.
there might also be slight pitch bend on the final notes of the phrase where there are also seperate automation on the filter/phaser i think

still can't get this to work !

by slide, you guys mean pitch bending down 1 octave right ?
I tried this with a saw and a formant filter. Help.           "Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth."

1.Make the simple lead
2.Put the flanger fx first
3.Use filter fx plug in and automate it or turn lfo sync

killer lfo filter with sync and overdrive

the leads key follow the bassline, only at the last
note (like soundmagus said) it sweeps down from
the highest note to a deeper one (not 1 octave, its
to much)... but it will not make much difference...
really. dont forget the phaser.
