Hi !
I often hear this lead sound which cut off fast and wonder anyone knows how it is made.
It sounds like that the leadsound ends really fast.Maybe it´s done with sidechain or that it is sampled and shorten.

I see, if you are on about silencing and repeating the last phrase/note of the lead line, bounce it, chop it up and repeat them short slices of audio.
It sounds spot on when you do it this way, if your synth's oscillators are free running, so you get the exact same synth sound, whereas it would not be exactly the same if you simply re-triggered the note with AMP envelope settings at 0 attack, max sustain and 0 decay as the ear does pick up the different starting points in the waveform's cycle and it don't sound spot on. Just make sure you do really tight fades at both ends of the region to get rid of any possible clicks from chopping at non 0 cross points.

Great now i have some different ideas on how i can make that sound.Maybe the wavsound is cut, i find it just difficult to find where to cut the sample.
Will try the adsr settings aswell I love visiting israeltranceforum !

step one.
Place fingers (or cursor) near envelope knobs.
step two.
Move your right hand (IMPORTANT!) towards the 'Release' knob slowly.
step three.
grab hold of the knob and twist it in a ANTI-clockwise motion.
step four.
Let go, make yourself some tea and roll something to smoke.
step five.
Refreshed, grab hold again and complete this step by reaching absolute zero on the 'release' knob.
Result ! Providing you have no effects on your sound, you can now draw a line in your piano roll and the sound will mysteriously 'end fast' when your line stops..

Snap quantize on 8th, 16th, 32th or 64th... then use scissors or knife or w/e clone some parts, reverse others, have fun.
