up the asym parameter in Logic's Ultrabeat drum synth. Ultrabeat's saturation and slope parameters will help you get to that sound and make sure you dial in a slope parameter in the envelope that has not an extremely fast decay so that you can actually hear the sine sweeping from a high note.
Notching out the certain frequencies in the (low) mids, is vital to get that kick sound.
I used Ultrabeat (I use that to make all our kicks) to create a similar kick to that one for one of our new tunes called Hands Off which is the 3rd tune on www.myspace.com/discohooligans
