How to make rytmic drumloops ?

Often when i listen to drumloops from samplecd´s etc they sound really good and rytmic.How can you make similar loops by yourself?
Often my drumloops get´s boring and doesn´t sound rytmic at all.

Try programming your midi with use of velocity, panning, swing- or groove-quantize. Try using ghost notes etc. Here are some tips get you going:

reverse, chop, delay, reverb, timestretch are nice fx on drumloops

Drop them one octave, then HP them, then gate and or sidechain to the kick.
