Lately I have no problem creating this or that sound.
But there's one sound I haven't figured out yet, and that's those computer sounds Kindzadza uses all the time on is last album.
There's something special about the way his computer sounds sound.
They sound crystal clear like glass and very stereo spread and deep at the same time.
Anoyone got a clue on how to make this sound? |

hmm maybe take anything u want, crash it with buffer override, record and cut to a melody and then process?!

Not sure if this will get exactly the sound you're looking for, but I've gotten a lot of my computerish type noises by using a couple of different techniques...
1. Lfo controlled pitch modulation Use the sample and hold waveform...
2. Lfo controlled PWM on an oscillator that is a square wave
An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. |

I know that Lfo trick.
It's just that Kindzadza's computer sounds have a certain dept to it.
And it rolls very nicely. |

no one can copy 1 sound out of a track perfect
he use probably diffrent synth/sample , diffrent chain fx then u will , he have diffrent background to it , he make diffrent mastering.
if u get to something close , polish it , make it your "own" copmuter sounds , and be happy
i know he like smartelectrnoix stuff , then buffer overdrive , scruby , and live cut might be helpfull in your quest

The best 'computer' sounds I've ever gotten have come from taking a Yamaha PSS-460, and circuit bending it, then running it through a delay, recording it to my 4-track, then playing the tape back in a normal tape player. Instant mad scientist computer sounds.
Probably not the same though. I'm not familiar with Kindzadza by name. |

if you want to make an "R2D2" sound just use an fast LFO witch random waveform and modulate the pitch. |

my guess would be Quadrasid, or Sidstation, or similar Elektron products, or maybe something set to a lo-fi setting or low-bit depth. some of his sounds are real atari-ish, so thats why I think of the lo-fi aspect of it, like 8-bit 10khz or something like that
when I heard Waves from Outer Space, I immediately thought of the sounds from Quadrasid
just me $.02, forgive me if its off
Gamma Riders EP out now on iTunes and Amazon.com!

maybe a sample of the sound would help.
but i'm pretty sure the traditional way is to has an S&H waveform LFO on a square wave osc.
to make it "crystal clear" try giving it a boost in the high end and/or using a "shiny" waveform.
Work like you don't need the money.

i think it s the sound talolard was talking about , try with S&H waveform modulation on a oscillator |
