How to make fat tb303 acid sounds?

Heya!

I was playing around with a few tb303 clone plugins.

so far Audiorealism Bassline was the most interesting.

but I wish to know which kind of filters/effects do I need to get really FAT acid sounds like from Ace Ventura, Gaudium or Ritmo???

you don't need more than abl2 or phoscyon (most artists use plugins nowadays for acidlines). the difficulty lies in the proper effect chain and eq.
it's all experimentation, trial and error and distortion

I played around a lot the last few days but A LOT drive and punch is missing with ABL2 alone so IT MUST be a matter of compressor or something like that!?

Just crank the resonance and sweep that filter cutoff & env mod, open decay and distort it.
No magic vst chain.

I like phoscyon better than ABL personally.

Oo i myself have only used alien 303...but then again i havn't really made any 303 acid lines..yet

but alien 303 hase afew acid presets... however the whole vst is very "limited" :/

Ace ventura is known to use Sylenth1 for acid sounds

use phoscyon it rules

this is absolutely enough to get the 303 acid sounds .I doubt there is any else software that sound as close to the tb as phoscyon does.
