Hello all, I've been doing flat 2 dimensional string art for a little while now and am ready to move onto bigger and better projects. I'd really like to make some 3-dimensional string art shapes but I'm somewhat confused.
What materials are used? I'm particularly wondering how to create the joints that allow poles or sticks to connect at various angles.
How? Where?
Anyone??? |

ask less and try more
go to different shops and wander around and find answers...
the best thing about decoration creation is in the "searching for answers"... by trying and thinking...
if you get all the answers from someone, then it is...
try try try think think think! |

I have tried, and I am thinking!!! But I'm still stummped. I've been to many many shops and stores looking for these joints but with no luck.
*sigh*
but you're absolutely right. I just needed a hint or a small pointer to get me in the right direction. |

I guess I can try that. It was my original intention to use these but I was discouraged from only seeing 90 and 45 degree angle joints. |

You can use one of those butane can blow torches to heat up the pvc joints and change the angles to what you want. Beware of hot plastic and fire burns though. |

when working with wood... use sticks/poles with plywood... you can create all angles.
just need some tools to work with plywood. good stuff for many things.
