Im working on a melodic chill out song where i
have a melodic hook.
How can i introduce the melodi without making it sound that it comes in to abrupt?
Thankful for any help |

create a variation and remove some of the notes
or copy the last half bar of the riff and have it as a pass just before your riff starts.
or copy the first half bar. transpose it don an octave or two , duplicate 4 times raising it an octave every time you do
might work ,, thing is to think of it as a piece of rubber and stretch it about in every dirrection
render the first bar to audio then reverse it, play it through a reverb or delay ...leave the tail on the clip, reverse it again then alighn it to the start
or play an intro for i by hand...like a scale run up and down or try playingit slower and speed up every rotation
working on passes is probably one of the most fun parts to working in digital audio i can think of and is a must to have a bag of skills to help your songs flow
