the sound quality has nothing to do with the programs used (if you are not relying on the internal synths in fruity) the basic rule is that you get out what you put in, so if your samples are shit quality then you will gain nothing from changing program. it´s true that some corners are cut in fruityloops because of the low cpu load.
but with just samples there is no difference.
listen to krumelur´s music he uses fruityloops and it sounds very nice
go figure! there is no easy way, just work work work

i can guarantee that this is the best thing to do if you want sound quality. clear your samples thousands of times. edit everything million of times.

I changed my Computer and my sound card,
I am working with Cubase but I opened FL
to see if there is any change with the qulity,
there was a hugh difference in the qulity...

My new Computer:
* P4 2000Mhz with 512Ram (DDr 333Mhz).
* Delta66 Soundcard (low latency is great).

Cubase sounds much better, all there is left
are the new Monitors.

P.s

Work on your EQ settings on every channel!

the fruity quality is not so shit as it used to be in the past (before version 3)

so maybe its your speakers or your sound card or something different...

keep seeking!

good luck!           ***dread controls***
