How to import installed new VST Effects on Logic Pro 9?

Hi guys hope u r ok! I just want to know how to import installed new VST Effects on Logic Pro 9? does anybody knows?

Logic uses only Audio Unit's plugins not vst

After you have installed the .dmg of the plugin the it will install itself when you start logic. You will see a status bar showing you which plugins its installing.           StarLab - Label DJ/Artist for Digital Om Productions

sometimes you have to do it manually...take the dmg file and put in in the components folder...

Ok so i see answers are given in both directions here, but there is only one correct one! VST and Logic does not work, simple as that. No need to copy anything manually, no need to even try anything. With Logic it´s AU only. There is a way around that if you really need certain vst´s to work. As i recall you can use FX-Expansion´s vst wrapper to use your vst´s in Logic (assuming they are compatible with the general hardware architecture)           Mastering available here:
