How to I make the bpm in a track go faster and faster?

Hey guys

I have a track that goes in 80 bpm, and in the lift I want the bpm to go faster and faster (from 80 bpm to perhaps 140). I want to create something like Astrix has done in his song "beyond the senses" (this lift starts at 5.12 in the track). I use fruityloops 5 as my sequencer.
Any tips?

record ?

or edit events
(on the bpm counter)

on other hand , it might not work great if you use long loops (in audio) and similar..           www.sattelbattle.com

is there a tempo track available, where you can 'draw' the tempo (instead of fixing it at a constant value)? using that, you could solve your problem. (maybe check the manual on this keyword)

good luck           $ exp(j*pi) + 1 = 0. $

I'm sure there must be a way to automate this in Cubase.
But maybe you can automate the Bpm with Soundshifter as well.

djones: in cubase you change the tempo using the tempo track (ctrl+click on the bpm in the transport). he asked about fl.

pilgrim: why would he want to buy another host just for this purpose?          $ exp(j*pi) + 1 = 0. $

colin hes on FL
just edit events and automate a rise/drop            Nocturnal Wizardz Recs
Bhooteshwara Records
Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.
Both cost more than you can afford, and leaves you sitting in a dark room with no life, craving for more.
