Hey there everybody, does anyone have an idea on how to get this female vocal effect that kicks in at 3:33 ?

you need a standard voice sample saying "ahhh" or "aaaiiii" something you get in many libraries.
then you either put a trance gate plugin on it (many free ones out there as well) or use a midi gate you can trigger with notes to be more precise.
or you just use your scissor tool in your daw of choice and cut the vocals by hand and arrange them in the rythm you want to achieve (16th with 8th notes combined for stuttering with groove)
on top you put a spacey reverb and a delay to add richness and life to the sound.
the way you use the note placement, reverb and delay will drastically alter the result, so take your time and play long with each step

Thank you so much, that's really helpful, actually i was also wondering if this type of sound could also be synthesized, but i think it probably wouldn't sound "organic" enough... |
