Hello guys.
Dont get me wrong... I don't want to copy other artists i just want to know how do i get that nighish feeling in my sounds.
I think i'm doing something wrong...maybe its the bassline and the percussion? probably my leads?

Here is one of the example of my main "beat"

And compare for example with this guys:

As i said,i dont want to copy their songs nor their style. Im not sad about my style I just feel that it is lacking in dark sounds

thanks           Soundclound:

Hi when producing put a black coat on and paint your face with black colour or throw some ashes on your face to get in the right dark or voodoo mood ,also switch all lights off and put a small candle in front of you for the real darnkess climate hehe seriously imo just make your sound it sounds cool and is darkish.Peace & Greets           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

Maybe try changing your alien303 bassline with something better. You also need to compress your kick and bassline if you want to get that power.           Free album out now:

Definitely sounding a bit darker here A bit less reverb on the open hat maybe.. but that's just me. Until you put some more layers on top of this however, it's a bit hard to work out if it is night or morning psy.

If you're using alien303, stop using it. It's way too linear imo... Get a good vst like sylenth or albino and add some nice decay and mess around with the envelope amount.

Maybe change your kick. It seems a bit thin, especially compared to the tracks you posted.
