hmmm to tell you the truth i'm lacking of FM synthesis and thats bad for dark atmospheric that i wanna make ...i think its the most important synthesis for psytrance sounds.am i wrong?
btw i'm on the way of learning the basics of sound produce & manipulation with vsts & FX the last months.i've made many leads, atmospheres, glitches and running blips/hits but nothing similar to the sound i mention above ...but i'll find the way!!!;P

I think Albino is the easiest for using FM... Like if you have Osc 1 set to FM (rather than a filter) then have a since wave selected on it.
Then on Osc 2 have a sawtooth wave or something but have this one routed to a filter.
If you change the ocatave on Osc 1 down 1 or 2 you should start to hear some farmiliar textures.
Change the envelope on Osc 1 then you're going to start thinking your computer is posessed.
I use this method for pretty much all my acid lines.

hmmmm so i tried the fm in albino you told me above and i get realy nice results!i start to understand what it needs for this kind of sounds...but ofcourse it lacks the ''metalize'' and this ''electricity'' (i dont know how to explain it ) also i think it needs filters and a good distortion in some way along with good note programming (dont know if its gated/arrpegiated or simple long ' n ' short notes)...and i dont have any idea of how to get it THAT fat to sound like a living cave ;P...

Yeah a good distortion is a must... It's weird to think of how many "flavours" distortion comes in.
so simple with disco
eq it but dont hp it to much just cut the sub's to save the fatness
sonalksis eq is perfect for this kinda sounds
add reverb and delay on sends
and u're done

Listen to the sample at the bottom of following page:
I believe that is the same method, but with more low bottom. Or in a lower key.
This sound is also available on a Nuborn sample library...
yeah thats the method for FM acid lines...nice tutorial i think the filter does the trick for the fatness and this ''low bottom to high pass and back'' sound on atriohm's song.but i need to learn a lot for the filter's adjustments and also the last part of the tutorial for the notes that being played is also very interesting for the form of the sound i think..
