Hi i use to layer my tau basses with sines underneath, it sounds nice but often i get this bad high frequenses in my tau bass, in the pluck area.Is there a way to get rid of them without using a eq to the sound.
Or should the basssound be layered in an other way ?
Best regards conny |

Hi
Why don't you wanna use an EQ? Is there something wrong? Have you tried a low-pass filter?
best regards,

Maybe u can cut it in the vst filter (maybe its too open), or using high-cut filter.

try to reduce the resonance, play with cutoff and decay, keep in mind the accent/ treshold.

nick , low pass its a filter not a EQ , and to remove certain frequencies , try to use a 31band EQ and cut the freq u thing are making to much resonance and anoying freq , its clean it all , at least i clean them well like this
and they stay ok
and like stranger sayed linearphase EQ its a nice thing to help making the job as well , it have less bands but , its good to help as well , its good somethimes that does plugins bring the "view of the frequency" in real time for u can chek as well how things are working!
