How to find events in Israel?

Hi, I'm going to Israel this Friday, the 28th January, staying on Kibbutz Yotvata near Eilat for 6 months. I was just wondering were to find out about parties and festivals happening in Israel while I'm there. I hear so much about the the acid raves and desert parties of Israel but can't actually work out how I find out about them etc... Is it all obvious once I get there?... Do I just have to wait for these forums to liven up when it gets warmer? And are there many big festivals, like is Indigo happening this year?

Hey Gully.
The majority of the small parties you can catch up on Fake book and I'm sure that soon you will connect to a crew that likes trance in the Arava region and they can refer you to parties.
As Goaren mentioned , Do not miss the Indigo, excellent and amazing festival!
And most importantly: Enjoy your stay in the desert land!

Thanks Guys, here now and looking forward to the party season to get underway. Haven't got Facebore unfortunately, perhaps I should. Indigo looks superb, definitely not to miss |
