When a sound plays only left or only right, do you keep the base frequencies, or do you remove them? I mean since the base is heared only in the middle, isn't better to fill all the frequencies of the stereo field, so that the sound can be fuller?
By, the way does anyone know any plug in like spectral autopan that automatically shifts a sound left and right?

yeah, that would be a good thing to do (if i understand your question correctly).,
but then you propably want to cut some bass from any track not kick and bass..,,
this will give the kick & bass more space to pump.,
about the autopanner, what do you mean exactly??

Like ZillDoggo says its always good to cut bass frequencies in elements that dont gain anything from it....
Mda Roundpanner is free and works well... try it

Also - you can automate panning... and then automate the EQ to add lower freqs when the sound centered for a moment. Then remove the freqs again. and so on.
the mda is a good plugin, but I can't really control it well.
I would also like to know if there's a freeware lfo-panner with 2 paremeters: Amplitude and Speed. sync would be nice too.
