i thin try inserting a delay, and then a reverb with a long decay (rt60,reverb tail...), one method i once used when the pluggin i used didnt give me suficiant results, i timed streched only the decay area
of the audio part, wich gave an interesting result.

delay goes very well with reverb , they complement each other so try pan the delay before the reverb.

cool tip:
try tweak a bit with the diffusion/predelay and if you want put some mass dist on it . (sorry but i'm crazy on dist sounds )           <One learns people through the heart, not the eyes or the intellect>

insert a compressor after the reverb

it will increase the reverb gain.

Just raise the density of the reverb (and/or increase the roomsize) to make the reverb 'thicker'. Then adjust the length and mix levels of the reverb until it sounds perfect. If not, a compressor will work, but I feel uncomfortable with compressing a signal with a lot of noise.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
