I love a lead i heard several times in different tracks. It can be heard in this one through the whole track and especially around 5:25, it's the low frequency FM sounding lead.
I tried several FM synths but i can't achieve that sound. Any help is welcome !

these is more than one way to make these sounds by modulating a oscillator frequency at very fast rate .you can try experimentating with fm, one oscillator will modulate the frequency of a other one (experiment with oscilaltors waveforms ,amount of fm and pitch of the oscillators ) |

Synth1 is free and can sound quite good.
Albino's FM is different and also good.
Discovery is cool too.
Rainbow is old but can sound very good too, also free.
TAL Noise Maker can get you there with a different sounding FM, another freebie.
NI FM8 complex but nice machine.
Ableton's live operator also superb machine.
IMHO the synth counts but I believe in your case, you might want to learn more about synthesis and tweak little parameters here and there (ie:envelopes, filters, modlfo, etc).
Try having the FM ammount modulated by a LFO with little depth, another LFO for the HP filter with some reso, add disto on top and profit.

For those who are interested. I searched alot on this sound. Especially the one in "Karmazon - Tartarus Chant" (track posted above). I'm pretty sure it's made with a nord lead, and i get almost the exact same sound with synth1.
