Sounds like electrypnose noises , that electric sounds that its almost like electricity or hi-tech futuristic japan machine sounds xD

think you kind get what I mean...
and pls not samples, been trying to figure how to make them with my virus or any synth...

Any advise would be highly appreciated...

Cheers

modulate the shit out of it, record, bounce, cut, paste, re-edit, put fx on it, same again, there you go....

tom cosm does cool tutorials on all that glitchy stuff. anyways you wont find a hint to the typical electrypnose sound styleee there.

just play a lot with the modulation matrix of your synth and i guess you will soon recognize a lot of that stuff on your way. just bounce and cut the stuff you like, rearrange and .... have fun

hope kinda helped, cheers

Yeap indeed Tom has very good tutos for glitch and stuff...

I was looking more into how to modulate those sounds...

Was checking this synth, and it seems quiet good for complex modulations...

Anyways tnx a lot for the comments
really appreciate that...

I guess its time to dig-in into this matter !

If you're looking for lots of modulation possibilities, I would suggest Vember's Surge. As for synths I use, Surge has an enormous number of modulation possibilities (since you can basically route any modulator- lfos, etc. to every possible parameter).           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

I swear by Surge.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

But still any hint at least on where to start with those kinds of sounds would be great...

hmm mixing strange waves maybe 2 osilators with very strange waves... and also crazy lfos... hmm hmm might be ...

try synths that can be used as fx ,the audio going to the synth is like /replace a oscillator ,just have fun with modulation (for example lfo on pitch ,filters ,pan ,distortion...) instant glitch stuff then edit audio manualy with some other fx and processing.
reaktor have some great ensembles too.
you can experiment with sample and loop and maybe modulate loops points, can give some nice glitchy sounds.
microtonic is good too for make some drums or strange noise to use for glitch stuff.

don t know how they do it and what kind of glitch stuff you mean, its just some ideas that may help

Exc Exc !

Yeap I think thats the kind of noises that I want...
basically just want to explore synthesis with my Virus indigo, trying to explore new sounds and synthesis, but have not been able to get there...

But I think these advices can be very helpful !

...Welcome to the beautiful world of synthesis and sound design...

Cheers !

You can achieve these weird noises by using a bandpass filter (experiment with very narrow bandwidths) or you can also do it with an EQ. So with your synth of choice create weird texture (use modulation section excessively) and then use bandpass filter or EQ for searching sweet sounding parts within you sound. Play with your synth again and create several more or less different layers each within its own frequency band, then stack them together, put some reverb and delay on top. Experiment with different number of layers and sound sources and you should get nice noises in no time.
