Some time ago I was asked to describe how I made hihats in my track "Sonic Conscious": http://forum.isratrance.com/alien-bug-sonic-conscious-work-in-progress/
This is the description of a clear hihats sound in this particular track. This is not a recipe (and tutorial), and can be completely useless when trying to use in its own track
