Hi people, someone knows how to do it?
I´m asking because when I finished the track, I record the Virus channel, tweaking the knobs, to get it in wave, but I should mute all other channels to do it (obvious) and sometimes I found myself a little bit lost when I´m doing that. I need to put the automation in a right place.
I´m looking for a method to do it, automate a Virus on my project.
Tnx in advance |

Be shure the virus channel is the only one with a record button ( in the track itself ) activated . and u should be able to record it with all the other channels playing

So you tweak the buttons while recording to wave or am I mistaking?
I am aasuming that you have a miditrack with the notes the Virus triggers? It is easier to record in the miditrack directly (I assume you have midi-in). Then you just hit record on the midi track, tweak your knobs, and then you're free to alter them in the editor in the midi-track after.
Then finally you can just record the track normally to wav.
The gain of doing things this way is that you can both record while listening to everything else, but also that you will be able to edit a small part if something goes wrong instead of doing a complete retake.
If you are not used to working with midi from and to the Virus, you will most likely find this page useful:
